Robotics for Inspection – FREE Manufacturer Workshop
April 29 @ 9:00 am – 5:00 pm EDT
Join the ARM Institute’s Robotics Manufacturing Hub and Catalyst Connection for a free workshop exploring robotics for visual inspection!
Join the ARM Institute’s Robotics Manufacturing Hub and Catalyst Connection for a free workshop exploring robotics for visual inspection on April 29! This workshop is designed specifically for manufacturers and will center on tangible applications of machine vision and robot assisted metrology for inspection tasks. Inspection tasks are ripe for robotics and automation – in this workshop, you’ll learn how robotics can improve your inspection processes by catching defects, improving quality and efficiency, minimizing manual inspection processes, and more. We will dive into camera types (2D vs 3D), lighting, CMM tending, robotic laser scanning. software and even how AI works in this application area.
Through a combination of expert-led presentations and live demonstrations, attendees will walk away from our workshop with an understanding about how other manufacturers have adopted robotics for inspection, the dos and don’ts of adopting robotics and automation, what’s possible in robotics for inspection, tangible next steps to get started, and information about free resources available to Western PA region manufacturers.
This is a hybrid event. Attendees can join in-person at the ARM Institute (Mill 19A, 4501 Lytle Street, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15207) or virtually.
Registration is required.
